The Toplight line brake plus features the BrakeTec function (The light must be connected to Dynamo). The BrakeTec Rear lights picks up a signal given off from the headlight, if speed drops significantly, a chip in the rear light will detect this and cause the rear light to light brighter in pulses.

The standlight feature is an inbuilt capacitor, that stores electrical energy while you ride, and allows the light to be kept on when your stationary at junctions etc. This improves your visibility to oncoming traffic and pedestrians when your not on the move
