| Description | Traditional brake cable housing comprises a spiral-wound steel cable encased in a plastic sheath. Our compressionless brake cable housing has a double inner construction using longitudinal and transverse Kevlar fibres. This design prevents the housing from compressing under the high forces applied by mechanical disc brakes, ensuring that the brake lever movement translates directly to the caliper without loss of power. 5mm outside diameter, for use with standard brake cable ferrules and 1.5-1.6mm inner brake cable. |
